Laura Conte-Crisfield
Laura is an American Designer practicing Interior Design for over twenty years. A New York City native, she completed her Design training in interior design, art and fashion at The Fashion Institute of Technology and Design Conceptual Courses at Otis College of Art and Design N.Y.C. Traveling to all parts of the world including Europe, South America and Asia, travel has influenced Laura’s world view and appreciation for diverse culture and lifestyle. Laura’s expertise is creating any interior or exterior style ranging from industrial to traditional. You name it, she can create it! A holistic vision with a soulful vibe, melds color, sophistication mixed with spirited spontaneity, seamlessly blends diverse periods of style, elements, materials, furniture and art to complete any interior.
With her acquired experience in building, working as a superintendent, project manager, overseeing scheduling all phases of construction from the ground up. Laura’s ability to work as a team collaborating with her clients, architect, structural engineer and contractor with the City, pulling building permits, scheduling every inspection to completion is so gratifying. The pleasure to experience a build from the ground up collaborating, creating a beautiful home with a team is such a thrill! Having the vision to see, visualizing an interior or exterior in my mind is my gift. As a child I would visualize a space and re-create it in my mind to make it better!
